The Engine Behind Every Signal

GRIPS catches moves while they still have room to run.

Most retail traders see a stock up 8% and assume it's too late. GRIPS — 5-dimension AI scoring on every signal — reads the structure of the move, not just the magnitude, to find the ones that still have momentum.

Five Dimensions. One Score.

Each dimension is scored 0–20. Combined, they produce the GRIPS total (0–100).

G

Growth

0 – 20 points

How hard is it moving?

Key insight: A 5% move at 10 AM scores differently than one at 3 PM.

R

Range

0 – 20 points

Where did price close in its range?

Key insight: Closing at the session high means buyers are still in control.

I

Intensity

0 – 20 points

Is real money behind this?

Key insight: Volume separates institutional moves from retail noise.

P

Probability

0 – 20 points

Will it continue?

Key insight: Trained on 14,000+ real trade outcomes to predict direction.

S

Spread Quality

0 – 20 points

🐋 How tight is the bid-ask spread?

Key insight: Institutional flow compresses spreads. A tight spread on a moving stock means the big money is engaged, not retail chasing.

🔥 HIGH CONVICTIONAll 8 gates passed · Detected 10:47 AM ET · Entry $24.31

G=15: +5.7% move falls in the 4–6% band → velocity scores solidly on the 0–20 scale

R=14: Price closed in the 70–85% range of its intraday high-low

I=19: Volume exceeded 2M shares — institutional participation confirmed

P=18: ML model gave 88% continuation probability → 18/20

S=16: 🐋 Bid-ask spread tight at ~0.08% — big money is engaged, not retail chasing

The 8 Gates of a High-Conviction Alert

Every single gate must pass. If one fails, no alert fires. No exceptions.

GRIPS Total ≥ 75

The combined score must clear the HIGH tier minimum.

G Score ≥ 14

Momentum must be real — velocity has to clear a hard floor.

I Score ≥ 10

Volume must confirm. Low-volume moves don't count.

S Score ≥ 10

Bid-ask spread must be tight — a hallmark of institutional flow.

Change % ≥ 8.0%

Minimum intraday move to qualify as significant.

Direction = Up

Squintz only signals longs. No short signals.

Time = 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM ET

First-hour explosive entry window only. No late-day chases.

Price ≤ $300

Keeps positions accessible with a small account.

The System That Gets Smarter Every Week

When Squintz fires an alert, it doesn't forget about it. The outcome tracker automatically goes back and records what happened to that stock at 1 hour, 4 hours, and 24 hours after the alert.

Once 50 labeled outcomes exist, the ML model trains for the first time. After that, it retrains every Friday with all accumulated data.

The Probability score — the P in GRIPS — switches from rule-based logic to ML-powered prediction. Every week the model gets a little sharper.

1

Alert fires → GRIPS score recorded

2

Outcome tracker labels 1hr / 4hr / 24hr results

3

50+ labels → first ML model trains

4

Every Friday → automatic retrain

5

P score uses ML predict_proba() × 20
